FreeRide
Example Solutions:
Hotline
The Hotline
is an extremely simple point-to-point link established
through the internet.
Simply
place one QTelNet FreeRide IP Telephone in each of two
offices anywhere in the world, and you have a toll-free
conduit from one desk to another.
Each
FreeRide IP Telephone requires a broadband Internet
connection. Depending on the specifics of the site,
this will typically be a shared resource accessed via
the office network.

No connection
to the local public telephone system is required in
either office. However, if you choose FreeRide IP-1302
phone, its second line can be connected to local phone
service for convenient access to both network and alternative
conventional phone service from the same deskset. Or,
choose the IP-2302 for two IP lines.
A
Variation
FXS-It!
The FreeRide telephone is essentially an FXS-type
gateway physically mated to a high-function analog
telephone. If you wish, either end of the Hotline
can be implemented using the combination of an FXS-1401
gateway and a user-supplied analog telephone in place
of the IP-x302.
