FXO-1301 Gateway
The FreeRide FXO-1301
Gateway supports two channels of toll quality voice
communications with other FreeRide components, via the
Internet or corporate Intranet. It spans the gap between
the digital network realm and analog telco or switchboard
lines.
On the
digital side, the FreeRide FXO-1301 connects to an IP
network in the same manner as an office computer, via
a standard 10BaseT Ethernet port.
On the
analog side, the FXO-1301 provides two ports for connection
to local telco phone lines or trunks, or to the line
side of a switchboard (PBX), thereby extending the reach
of one or two local lines through the network to one
or more distant locations.
At least one QTelNet
FreeRide component is required for each office you
wish to interconnect.
